1. The Promoter is Melbourne Short Stay Apartments Pty Ltd of 187 City Road, Southbank. ("The Promoter").
2. Competition opens on 1st February, 2010 and closes at midnight on 30th April, 2010 (AEDST).
3. Prize details:
- 2 nights accommodation in a two bedroom apartment operated by The Promoter.
- Complimentary car parking for 2 nights.
- A bottle of Australian sparkling wine.
- A box of fine chocolates.
The approximate retail value of prize is at time of writing is $750.
Accommodation is subject to availability & must be redeemed within 12 months of the prize draw and cannot be used during "Special Event Periods". The winner must provide at least 28 days notice of preferred travel dates.
The Promoter is not responsible for any variation in relation to the value of the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize item with a similar item if required. All gifts will be presented to the winner at check-in. The winner is responsible for their own other transport arrangements, meals, insurance and spending money not included in the above prize details.
The prize is non-transferable, non-separable and non-refundable.
4. Eligibility & How to enter:
This promotion is open to all people (18 years or over) who check-in to an apartment at SouthbankONE (180 City Road, Southbank) prior to the competition closing time. A further eligibility condition is that the original booking must be made direct with The Promoter via telephone or the web site: shortstay.com.au . Bookings made via third-party websites will be ineligible to win.
Only one entry per booking will be accepted and the entry will be in the contact name attached to the booking. An individual can only enter once and will only receive one entry in the prize draw. Any subsequent entries will be deemed void.
Employees, agents, contractors and representatives (including their immediate family) of The Promoter and its related companies are ineligible to win.
5. Prize Draw: A winner will be drawn randomly from all eligible entrants on Monday May 3rd, 2010 at the offices of The Promoter.
The winner's name will be published in the Public Notices section of The Age newspaper on Friday 7th May, 2010. The winner will be contacted by email and will have 30 days to reply and claim the prize. Failure to claim prize within 30 days will void the winner's right to the prize. To claim the prize the winner must agree to have their name and photo published in the Promoter's newsletter.
6. Other Conditions:
The Promoter reserves the right to end this promotion or modify the prize details at its discretion, in which case notification will be posted on this web page. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All entries become the property of The Promoter and may be entered into a database. The Promoter may use the information entered by an entrant in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injuries suffered or sustained during the course of or in connection with any of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
